Benji our very first Border Collie from which it all began.

Situated in Ipswich,Suffolk,England we have been involved with Border Collies for the past 21 years. It all started  with  Benji  our  introduction  to  BCs  all those years ago,  little did we know then where it would lead!! He was bought as a pet and purely by accident we visited a local show and asked a few questions when we found a group of border collie exhibitors  as to whether we could have a go.That was it, we found a training club,  Benji took to it like a duck to water however we later learned that as his parents weren't registered with the KC or ISDS we could only take part in what were known as exemption shows but that was a start! His first show he got a third and that was it we were hooked!!So of course the next step was to get a 'proper' show dog and so Detania Toblerone(Toby) came to live with us and so the love affair with border collies and showing became 'serious' He qualified for Crufts and gained his Stud Book number and our new hobby overtook our lives with more additions to our home over the next few years. We then felt we were experienced enough to have our first litter from Ellie(Cherrone Shantilly Lace) to Sh Ch Altricia Krisp of Charttop which produced the first Borderbeau dog Teddy(Borderbeau Country BlessingJW). Our second and last  litter from Ellie gave us Sh Ch Borderbeau Country Choice 5CC's 2Rcc's(Alfie)Several more successful years followed with our pets qualifying for Crufts regularly and a Res CC with Buzz and the STAR of our kennel Minnie being BCCof GB top puppy 2003, JW winner at 9 months, a Sh CH and a group winner at the age of two years.Further success has followed which can be found on other pages of our website and then we felt it was time for another litter so Minnie was  mated to Woody and we bred our first Borderbeau bitch Gem (Borderbeau Rubalite)who belongs to our son Adam.A second litter soon followed from Mica  to Tonkory Yves Saint LaurentJW(Minnies' brother)giving us Ollie and Ruby so taking us up to the present day, a long way from our first dog Benji! but all first and foremost very much loved pets-show dogs second.
